During this task I developed a leaflet regarding Social Technology for the next year student. I highlighted the importance of the subject such as how student will develop their punctuality and keeping up with intense deadlines. I hope my leaflet will help prospects student to choose Soctech.
Above is my leaflet:
As Photographers we create permanent visual images for an exceptionally wide range of creativity, technical and documentary purposes.

Week 8 Plagiarism and Copyright
This week the task was very unique it gave us the opportunity to really excel with our ideas and do some hardcore group work. Todays lesson was very dynamic and a lot of discussion went on. We decided to do a storyboard following the story of what happens when a student decides to copy or plagiarise their work. I think that this is a very effective means of teaching new students how to avoid copying other people's work and they say "A picture speaks a thousand words" and since we have a camera it would be clever to make use of it.
Today's taks was very exciting here are some people working in their cohorts.
This week required a lot of acting skills
Hopefully next week we can finally take the family picture. (group)

design a leaflet for final year students
Week 7
The group members have met up and have decided to bring in the camera next week for the group photos again as the last one was not very professional looking. We have made an announcemnet to the whole class telling them of this and that also individual photos will be taken as well.
We were supposed to take group photos today however due to unforseen weather circumstances we were unable to do so.

Picasa
Definitions of Picasa
"Picasa" is a blend of the name of Spanish painter Pablo Picasso, the phrase mi casa for "my house" and "pic" for pictures (personalized art)”

Picasa
Picasa is a free tool that allows you to editing and organizing your photos using free software on Google, which is indeed much to offer. Picasa is a program that runs on Windows and other difference windows and it can be downloaded from http://picasa.google.com/.
Find Your Photos
When you install Picasa, it asks if you want to scan your computer completely, or if you just want to clear the desktop, files, documents and folders. I really suggest you limit your search to only those folders if you have more than one hard disk, or you're been storing photos in strange places.
When Picasa scans your computer completely, you will receive temporary Internet files and graphics from computer programs, and other images that you may have in your photo album. You can remove the files later, but this is not the easiest to import the first place. You can also import photos directly from your digital camera, which is an easy way to keep the organization since the beginning.
Organize Your Photos
Picasa will organize your photos by date and stored in the structure of the first file name on the hard disk. Important areas to show thumbnails of your images and the right side of the navigation bar. The Library of thumbnails groups the folders together, but all of this is image is showing. And that means that it will not put pressure on the information several times to move to the new folder, which is a nice touch. You can move the thumbnail images from one folder to another directly from Picasa, and confirm and then transfer the file to your hard drive. An easy way to organize albums and digital images.
Overall
This is one of the best tools I saw a picture at any price. Integration with other Google products, and shopping, Blogger and YouTube, and this are a good thing really should not be associated with an image processor for printing. Picasa presents a comparison with iLife on the Apple, and it is really positive. Version of Mac OS is still in experimental stage, but it is also worth study. If you have digital images, I would certainly recommend Picasa for anyone to use.

Group Pictures
Summer is coming back, this was great day to take a group picture of the class. We decided to take the whole class outside for a quick group picture. However, we are little bit dissapointed with the result for various reasons which you can find below:
- We had some students who were absent during the day
- One or more student seems to be looking away or in a different direction
- There are different moods in the group (some smiling, some serious, some playing around)
Overall we are happy with the outcome and we can improve next time by preparing the group and letting everyone know that we will be taking photos.

Virtual Lives
Children are happier in their lives often on the Internet than they are with reality, a survey showed. Say can be exactly who they want to be - and once something is no longer fun, they can simply click Finish. It provides a form of escapism where children can act talk and chat however they want with whomever. If they don’t feel happy they have the option of quitting the browser and come back when they feel like it.
The study also shows that despite concerns about safety on the Internet, one of eight young people to communicate with strangers when the Internet and are often at their age, appearance and origin. As with many stories that appear in online games and virtual worlds are drawn lazy real differences between the two worlds "and" virtual. "We passed some of the best relationships more in real life," says reporter spiffily arguing that the friendships in the game can be extended in many cases, outside the game world. And this is only at this stage to take effect, right? The online virtual world is change the way we communicate and social interact, It is easier to be who you want because nobody knows you and if you do not like the situation you can just go out and get it done. Because people are happier to do this, especially the young the kids.

It seems realistic to the point at which some people may become hooked on it or addicted. In this world you can behave how you want to and not necessarily how you live physically. You can make your player beautiful or even intelligent you can change your profile so that it is the complete opposite to what you are in the real world.
This is because in the real world we don’t have the ability or control over what we do how we look like who we interact with such as the opposite sex etc. this world gives you the ability to have a virtual identity and escape the stress of the real world. The people in the world seem nicer because you have control over what happens who does what etc. for some people it clearly provides escapism because in the virtual world you can be whatever you want to be and act.
